Rev. Dev Lloyd, a graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute, exemplifies excellence in all that he does. As the principal of South Bay Christian Academy for twenty-one years, the value that he assigns to high academic standards is evident. He is a great asset to the faculty team, and is serving as Vice-chairman for the second consecutive year.

Jim Ghiloni - Vice Chairman

Pastor Ghiloni shepherds the very church in which he was saved while serving in the U.S. Navy stationed here in San Diego. A great revival swept through Upper Room Pentecostal Church and he and several other members of his Seal Team were impacted and gave their hearts to God. He is a teacher with a true pastor's heart and enriches all who come beneath his teaching. He is serving as Chairman for the second consecutive year.

George Nobbs - Secretary

Rev. George Nobbs is a member of the first graduating class of CSTI, some 30 years ago. He now serves as the Associate Pastor at South Bay Pentecostal Church and has been the CSTI secretary for the past fifteen years. His passion for learning and his talent for administration serve him well as he seeks to fulfill the goal of seeing CSTI become the very best it can be.

Arthur Hodges Jr. - Instructor: Founder

Arthur Hodges Jr (Elder Hodges) is one of the four original founders of CSTI, way back in 1972. Along with David Gray, Alan Pickelsimer and Berl Stevenson, he envisioned a co-op teaching ministry where all pastors could send their people to be instructed, profiting from the ministries of each pastor. This came to pass and has operated and been a blessing to the churches of Section One ever since.

Tom Durrance - Instructor

Pastor Tom Durrance, of Truevine Pentecostal Church in Temecula, California, has been a prime mover in CSTI's expanding to include on-line access, and no doubt will be instrumental in additional progressive improvements. Having just completed a great facility expansion, he is an excellent pastor and teacher and a tremendous asset in this ministry.

Jeffrey Keck - Instructor

Pastor Keck brings a wealth of teaching and school administration experience to the CSTI board. As the principal of Tabernacle Christian Academy for the past number of years, he is dedicated to academics both secularly and spiritually.

Art Hodges - Instructor

A graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute, Bro. Hodges has served as Senior Pastor of South Bay Pentecostal Church since 1985. He is now the District Superintendent of the newly formed SoCal District of the UPCI, a dedicated Bible teacher, and brings these qualities into the ministry of CSTI.

David McGovern - Instructor

Rev. David McGovern is an experienced communicator who brings with him to CSTI a passion for apostolic ministry.  His 10 years experience in student ministry (the last 4 as the full-time student pastor at North Point Worship Center of Escondido under Pastor Darin Sargent) affords him a unique approach to teaching.  Bro. McGovern also serves on the SoCal District Youth Board.

Arlo Moehlenpah - Instructor

Dr. Arlo Moehlenpah graduated from Apostolic Bible Institute, going on to accomplish his Masters and Doctorate degrees, and has taught in Bible Colleges for over 30 years, as well as in secular universities. Having authored books such as Creation vs Evolution, Teaching with Variety and Manage Your Money or it will Manage You, he is a tremendous asset to CSTI. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the students. Dr. Moehlenpah and his wife, Jane, host the ministry Doing Good Ministries, found at 'www.doinggood.org'. 

Tim Wachtstetter - Instructor

A teacher by trade, a minister at heart. Rev. Tim Wachtstetter has the uncanny ability to present the Scriptures in a way that causes them to live, consequently impacting lives. He is one of the students' favorites - rock solid and thorough.

Mark Stevenson - Instructor

Bro. Mark Stevenson pastors New Life Center in El Cajon, CA. As the grandson of one of our founders (Berl Stevenson), he brings a wealth of apostolic experience to his ministry. He is a great teacher and we are fortunate to have him aboard.

Samuel Gutierrez - Instructor

Bro. Gutierrez serves as the youth pastor at the Anchor Church and comes highly recommended as a leader and teacher - one who has a passion for the Word of the Lord and people. A great addition.

Ezekiel Rodriguez - Instructor

We are thrilled to have Bro. Rodriguez as a new instructor. He is a pastor new to Section One and has so wonderfully jumped in to serve the pastors and saints by joining the CSTI team.

John Lopez - Instructor

Pastor Lopez leads a growing congregation at Zion Christian Fellowship in Spring Valley, California. He has been raised in a Christian home his entire life, and a special call and anointing has been evident from his youth. What an exciting and enthusiastic addition to the staff is this fine man of God!
